It may feel like school just started, and now we are already at the holidays. Relax and enjoy the break from homework and studies. Keep your mind active with fun-based learning, like reading books, doing pencil puzzles like crosswords and playing card games or board games.
Although taking a break form academics may seem over indulgent, a couple week mental break can make the mind fresh and more ready to learn for when classes start again in the New Year.
Everyone at findAtutor.ca wishes you the best for the holidays!
Another September is upon us, and is the start of a new school year for most students. This is a busy time of year for students and parents while getting used to the new routine, and figuring out all the afterschool activities.
While scheduling in sports and lessons, don't forget to include tutoring on your list. It's better to start tutoring early, rather than waiting until trouble starts and the student has to catch up. Even if no help is needed yet, contact a tutor now to set up a day and time that will work for you.
For a brief time on September 9th, e-mail sent via findAtutor.ca was not possible. That meant that anyone trying to contact a tutor using their personal contact form received an error message.
Fortunately the issue seems to have been resolved.
If you ever notice an error, or feel something is not working properly on findAtutor.ca, please contact the administrator right away with your concerns.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for using findAtutor.ca.
The format of listings and layout has been updated. Information is evenly spaced, headings of important information, such as rate and subjects, have been highlighted, and there is clearer separation between listings.
We hope every one likes the new look to the listings, finding it easier to read and even quicker to find all the information you are looking for. For information on how to use the search feature on findAtutor.ca, see the How to... page.
